Pam Birdsall was elected to the Legislative Assembly on June 9, 2009. She is a longtime resident of Mahone Bay and has been the co-owner and operator of Birdsall-Worthington Pottery Ltd. for 30 years.
Before becoming an MLA, Pam was a founding
member of the Mahone Bay Business Association, now known as the Mahone
Bay and Area Chamber of Commerce. She has also chaired the Mahone Bay Sustainability Committe and has been a member of various boards and community groups such as the Mahone Bay's Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) and the Second Story Woman's Centre. Pam is a recipient of the Women of Excellence Award from the Halifax Progress Club.
Pam is deeply involved with the arts community and was a founding
member, past Vice-President and Chair of the Nova Scotia Designer
Crafts Council Standards Committe. She is the mother of two children
and lives in Mahone Bay with her husband Harry.
